Birth Pangs and the many Crisis’ we are living in
I read something by Gregg Braden the other day that led me to a new vantage point from which to view our present world situation. Imagine if you would that you had never seen or knew nothing about how new life entered this world. One day you see a woman who has a very large belly enter the room. All of a sudden water and blood pours out from her and she starts feeling a horrible cramp. You go to her and try to help her but it only get worse. What are you thinking is happening? It looks as though this woman is probably dying. The reality is she is in labor and a new life is about to enter this world. In just the short while the cramps will be over and joy will replace the pain she is now experiencing.
Matt 24:6-8 “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
Rom 8:18-22 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. …. in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Are we now experiencing labor pains in our economy, globule warming, war in Gaza and Iraq and all the other places. Is this just the cramping waiting for the wonderful miracle of new life to happen. I BELIEVE SO! I am excited for the near future! Yes, there is pain in child birth but it is only for a shot time and the joy that comes when the birth is complete is worth. (spoken as only a man can)! GLORY – THE EXPRESSION OF GOD”S LIFE ON EARTH IS COMING LIKE NEVER BEFORE – THE SONS OF GOD, MATURE SAINTS ARE GROWING EVEN TODAY. Wow! This is an exciting time to live in!
