The Story of the Divine Seed

and the

Mysteries of the Kingdom of God

It is the way of the Divine to teach using stories. He knows that those seeking the kingdom of God will find it in his stories. Those who seek to trap him in his words will simply leave without understanding.

One day a certain living vessel, called the Son, was crushed and opened. Inside the Son was found many seeds. Each individual seed contained the life of the Son. The Father took the seeds that were contained in the Son and planted these divine seeds by scattering them into many other vessels. These vessels were honored to receive such a gift of the divine seed. This story is about four such vessels that the Father planted the divine seed into.

The first vessel that received the divine seed and heard the calling to go remained on the road he had always dwelt on. Now this road was a place where most of the vessels dwelt. Nothing that is organic can grow on the road. The road is made up of clay that has been dried in the sun and it is very hard almost as hard as stone. Water rolls off of this clay and no seed can find nourishment in this place. When the vessel experienced a crushing, as all earth vessels do, the divine seed was exposed to the environment where this vessel dwelt. This day because the vessel dwelt on the clay road the divine seed found no shelter or covering or nourishment and was simply devoured by the birds of the air.

The second vessel that received the divine seed and heard the calling to go moved from the clay road to a gravel pathway. Although this pathway was stone it was not as hard or united as the clay. On the pathway the seed could find some protection between the small individual stones. When the vessel experienced a crushing, as all earth vessels do, the divine seed was exposed to the environment where this vessel dwelt. In this environment the seed was able to find some soil in between the individual stones and very quickly it began to sprout new life and grow. But because there was so little soil the roots could not take a strong hold and the new life was crushed by the shifting of the small individual stones.

The third vessel that received the divine seed and heard the calling to go moved from the clay road to a one time beautiful garden that over time had been neglect and was overgrown with weeds. When the vessel experienced a crushing, as all earth vessels do, the divine seed was exposed to the environment where this vessel dwelt. In this environment the seed was able to be immersed in rich soil that had some organic nutrients that were left from the leaves and fruit of old dead plants. It was here that the seed began to take root and grow. As it began to grow the weeds around began to overshadow it and block it from receiving what it needed from the Sun. Over time the small plants growth was stopped, it never matured or came to a place of being able to produce fruit.

The fourth vessel that received the divine seed and heard the calling to go moved from the clay road to a garden by a slow moving stream that had been prepared by the Father. When the vessel experienced a crushing, as all earth vessels do, the divine seed was exposed to the environment where this vessel dwelt. Here the divine seed fell onto good soil that was made rich in the organic experience of death. It is these experiences that are the food of the young seed. In this environment the soil was loose enough for the young root to penetrate deep and far. Here there was nothing to block the food he received from the Sun above. It was in this environment that the seed was able to grow to maturity and bear fruit. Here rich organic food is given by other plants as dying things fall from them. Here roots can find deep wells of water in the soil and the Sun that nourishes from above. In this organic environment a seed is home and able to grow into all he was meant to be.

Hi Chris great post, I really enjoyed it.

My question is, is their room in this story for the same vessel going through multiple environments?

Meaning the same vessel survive the first, second and third environment and end up in the fourth?

Something tells me that maybe the fourth environment could feel like the first, second or third for a long time, until one day you realise the Live of the fourth has been keeping you all through.

    any sense in that?

  2. Christo,
Absolutely! The preservation of the vessel through all the environments is a reality. Each of the patriarchs were told by the Lord to go, leave where they were and go to a place the Lord had for them and his people. They stayed in many different places and still survived.
I guess the real point is that I have seen without the proper environment God’s people don’t mature to adulthood. Many environments keep peoples spiritual growth stunted.
